Morgan has diverse training and experience as a dancer, performer, and student of life. Her promenade began at the age of 4 in Colorado where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, and modern at Parker Dance Academy, Colorado School of Dance, and David Taylor Dance Theater. She began student teaching at the age of 16 and choreographed her first full-length musical at 17. She went on to complete her BFA in Acting from Chicago College of Performing Arts where she received a scholarship to continue her dance studies at Hubbard Street. Morgan spent 7 years dancing, acting, writing, and choreographing numerous productions throughout the greater Chicago area. Her work is generally avant garde and contemporary. In 2005 Morgan was introduced to Yoga through her studies at Chicago College of Performing Arts. She relocated to Colorado in 2010 and her yoga practice expanded. She received her 200 hr. Yoga Teacher Training certificate from Samadhi Center for Yoga and Meditation in Denver. She is currently finishing up her 500 hr. teacher training studies there as well, while choreographing and performing throughout the Denver/Boulder area. Morgan has also studied various somatic movement methods including Skinner Release Technique, Alexander Technique, and Gabrielle Roth’s 5 rhythms. Morgan is a founding ensemble member of Visionbox Acting Studio in Denver, CO under the direction of Jennifer McCray Rincon of Yale Drama School and Bob Davidson Aerial Artist and former movement director at The National Theater Conservatory.
